Sara Barber-Jenkins

Sara barber Jenkins Barber-Jenkins began competing when she was 9-years-old. From 1956 to 1959 she was, without a doubt, Canada’s top female swimmer, and a great international athlete who competed at two British Empire Games, two Pan American Games, and two Olympics. At age 15 she had fifth, seventeenth, and eighth place finishes in her events at the Olympics in Melbourne, Australia.
