Larry Pennell

Larry Pennell Larry Pennell entered the Brantford Red Sox in the Senior ICBA in 1947. Larry was acting president and general manager. Larry won ICBA Championship in 1949 and won the Pennant in 1950 and 1951. In addition to Larry’s commitment to baseball he also operated the Brantford Red Men Intermediate “A” Football team who went to win the League Championship in 1947. He also operated the Brantford Red Men “A” Intermediate Hockey Team who went to win the 1947 OHA Intermediate “A” Hockey Championship. Larry had an outstanding career as a solicitor and Supreme Court Judge, MP for Brant Haldimand in 1962-1968 and in 1965 was appointed Solicitor General of Canada.
